!!!!Building more roads is not an answer!!!!!
The Government must show us that public transport is the only true answer to commuting in this small island in which we all live.
I don't want my family polluted by people that are too bone idle to use public transport.
People say that I am selfish not wanting a road next to my house but I say these people are selfish wanting to pollute my family.
Why should this bridge and the associated roads come before peoples quality of life!!
This will not be a local bridge. The only thing that makes it local is that all the local roads will be jammed with through traffic.
Would Ken Livingstone like an 8 lane road next to his house, polluting his one year old child? if the answer is no, then why should we put up with it.
We the people of Thamesmead are being treated as 2nd class citizens!
Its time for people of Thamesmead to say no to this traffic based bridge. |
