I collect and build models of PT BOATS. I have just completed a detailed model of a SWIFT BOAT. Is there a market for this model ? It was appraised for $5,000.00 by a local model builder in New England.

ALL Swift Boat sailors have an affection for these craft
that includes a desire to have a detailed model of "their"
boat to display in a prominent place in their homes. And
this applies not only to US sailors but also to sailors in
other parts of the world.

Models built or purchased range from small to large and
from very rudimentary to very detailed, as yours obviously
is. Here are two built from scratch by a US sailor and by a
retired Maltese Swift sailor:

So "Is their a market?" Definitely. But for the level of
quality and price of your (I am sure) excellent model
.... probably a VERY limited one.
