Dear Sailors, My dad built the cabins on a bunch of the swift boats many years ago.He passed away awhile back, but,he always wanted to know.Did he do a good job? Can any of you PLEASE let me know? Thankyou! Kevin Diamond
Kevin, your dad did a very fine job! The cabin he built held back more storms and heavy seas than such a small boat should ever have to take. We lost some windows sometimes but the bulkheads were strong. I'm sure you are proud as I am sure he was too.
"She's a good ole boat and she'll stay afloat
Through the toughest gale and keep smiling"
Only one of the many reasons why Swift sailors
have such affection & respect for the wee boats
Just how well your father and his coworkers at
Sewart Seacraft perfomed their jobs is verified
by the fact that examples of their craftsmanship
are still on active duty forty years later in the
countries of the USA, Malta and Thailand
