web site visitors to communicate with current SBSA members regarding any questions about Swift Boat configurations and their operations, association activities, reunions, the newsletter, items in the Ship's Store, locating Swift sailors, or information about joining the association
The most common way it's been done in the past is to post the guy's name and other info (what boat, time in-country, division, etc.) on this site or get a member of the Swift-L to post it there. If anyone knows the guy, it'll come out in a day or two.
You can always request info from DoD via a FOIA request. This has been done several times with good results. You can get info on this - again - on the Swift-L mail reflector.
Re: Re: Re: People making false claims to be veterans
I believe once you have collected the info. Aproach
him, let him know you have found this web site. Tell
him you are going to find out all about his heroic
act. Because the people around him can give him the
proper respect. If he is lying, I believe he will
confess. I believe this site has a section the tell of the award the different swifty won in service for their country.
