Hello - I am the daughter of LCDR Burton L Knight, who was the CSO for Boat Squadron 1. My Dad passed in 1995, and I have his two grandsons who would like to know more about their grandfather's Navy career. I have told the the little bit that my Dad shared with me as a child and later as an adult before he died, but he never really talked that much about his Vietnam years until just before he died.

Does anyone on this forum remember my father? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

So sorry to have missed the reunion in Norfolk in 2003, that's right down the road from us - if only we'd known about it! It would have been worth the trip to attend the 2007 reunion in Coronado, since I have many memories of growing up there and going to the Phib base with my Dad to try out the fast boats. I spent several memorable Saturdays bouncing on the white caps while my Dad put these boats through the paces. Will there be another reunion in 2008?
