Horror Poetry?

Poetry is very hard to define into genres. Many poems criss cross from one genre to another(many 'love poems' for example employ descriptions that would usually be calssed as parts of 'nature poetry')

This aside I am earnestly trying to find horror poems/poets (Lovecraft is the only one I have found). Anyone know any?

Re: Horror Poetry?

Edgar Allen Poe leaps to mind.

Only him though.

Re: Horror Poetry?

You could do worse than consider some of the WW1 poets! Seriously, things don't get much more horrible than some of that stuff. Try Owen's Dulce et Decorum Est for starters.

Good luck in your quest.
