Re: Do you have questions about the deaths of the little Amish girls?
De, this is a beautiful posting and I personally find it a great comfort to know that the day of our death has already been appointed by God and does not happen by fate, or by accident, or because we were betrayed, or because the Dr.'s were incompetent. As you know, I recently lost my eldest son and when you pointed this out to me, I was very comforted to know that his death was right on time and according to God's very own plan.
May I also say how sorry I am to learn of Eve's passing as well. You know how she has been in my prayers since I first learned how ill she was. Praise Jesus that she did not however have to suffer for a long period of time and that He took her home on her appointed day as well.

Re: Do you have questions about the deaths of the little Amish girls?
Thank you Sheila for praying for Eve - I love you and appreciate you so very much, and thank you to all who have prayed for Eve be it one time or many.
I am truly blessed to know that there is a family that gathers here at DR on a regular basis and that we are supportive of one another.
We don't have a great deal of dialogue that takes place on the forum but I know that you are there and that you are praying and prayed for by others who visit this forum - we are the Body of Christ and individual members of the whole and I thank God for each one of you.
I trust that each of you will continue to be blessed and a blessing to others and that you will be copiously filled with the love, peace, and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ...d~

A poem by a new friend - "Death is not the end"
Death is not the end of life,
in fact, it’s life anew,
if you’re in Christ the Savior,
and the Spirit lives in you.
It’s the start of better things,
no tears, no hurt, no strife,
no illness, pain or cares
that weight us down in life.
Gazing on the sovereign God,
joy and peace forevermore;
stepping from constraints of time
through Heaven’s Open Door.
We need not fear mortal death,
it beats this life, for sure!
Perfection is what God has planned
for those who can endure.

.......
I was concerned with the wording at the end of the poem and Peggy sent me back this caveat for our understanding.
Those of us who endure until the Rapture will have perfection... perfect surroundings, perfect bodies, perfect minds, perfect love, etc., and indeed we shall.
My concern was that we know that enduring hardships and tribulations have nothing to do with our future perfection i.e. if we do not endure as good as we could have we won't miss the resurrection/rapture - and each member of Christ's Body will be perfected as soon as corruption puts on incorruption and mortality puts on immortality.
I don't apologize for being so literal - I just want everyone who comes to DR or posts what we have written on other boards to know that we take what the Bible claims very literal therefore I often times find it neccessary to add a caveat...d~
