A book that I recommend
A few weeks back I posted a link to the Deborah Kuzenski blog. Debbie and I have come to appreciate each other and our commitment to Jesus and His rightly divided Word. I ordered her novel - Covenant With My Chosen as a birthday gift for a friend and another as a gift to myself. I received the novel yesterday and began reading it last night. I'm up to the 6th chapter and I had to stop and put this promotion here today. Deborah read the Left Behind series and sensed a leading to write her own novel from a rightly divided approach - and from the 5 chapters that I have thus far read Deborah has put together a book that is not only a good story surrounding several characters but Deborah incorporates her rightly divided knowledge of Scripture inside the story. BRAVO! I believe that the Holy Spirit helped Deborah write this book and that He will also use it to reach a multitude if we can place it in their hands. The book is a very easy read with a rightly divided understanding of Scripture. Do I love it? Yes, I do! Does the book have an excellent message? Yes, it does! Deborah wrote a novel - she does not claim that the way she put the story together is in chronological order - but that aside - I have thus far enjoyed it very much and intend to loan it out many times and as the Lord provides I will order more copies to give as gifts. One of many things that I appreciate from the story is that Deborah shows the rapture taking place in the spring - i.e. in the week of the Passover. I liked that very much. I am the birthday gift recipient of this wonderful Novel which Deborah wrote and I read the entire novel in one sitting. It is difficult to put down, once started ( which is why I just read it through to the end and didn't put it down). The story is exciting, the characters are so believable, and although it is a work of fiction, I personally believe it is quite an acurate and plausible unfolding of the Rapture and the Tribulation. It also ends on such a joyous note. Deborah uses her excellent knowledge of "rightly dividing" the word in a way which teaches us as the story unfolds, and for a reader who may not be totally familiar with rightly dividing, much will be learned from this book. I highly recommend it to everyone. Much more authentic than the other Left Behind books and Bravo Deborah for writing a completely captivating story with a wonderful Message.........and a special Thank You to De for a wonderful and thoughtful Birthday Gift.
