I havent officially retired. I'll still make the odd appearance when numbers are low. Didnt like the fact that I would maybe take someones place on a Saturday that turns up everyweek. Its hardly fair and lets be honest I'm not likely to warm the bench on a cold December afternoon to come on with 15 mins to go. I've never been very good from the bench in the best of circumstances, however I do remember coming back from a discolated hip off the bench to score twice on my return!!! Those were my younger days though!
Bet you miss my pens!! Have you managed to have or score any penalties while I've been missing? I bet not! You all now see the merits of diving in the box and having the bottle to put the pen top corner!!!
