use of trichloroethylene in floor stipping/wax removal

I am trying to find out if tricholoethylene (sometimes called TCE)was ever used in solvents for floor stipping or wax removal. If anyone recalls, or has an MSDS from the 1960s or 1970s that show it as an ingredient, please respond.

Thanks.

Never heard of it being used. And I hope they don't bring it back if it has been used because trichloroethylene is some real nasty stuff. I wouldn't care to breath it.
