I QUIT !!!
Well I finaly did it. I quit my job from a contract cleaning company after 6 years of service. So many things that were wrong. Snow contractor always did half a job so I had to finish it to make things safe, grass contractor (same guy) only cut the grass once a month. If I performed my job like that I would be fired. Was charged $20.00 to take my wife to the christmas party because she didnt work for the company at the time, she has worked for the company at times in the past and after the party was even offered a four hour night spot, she was pretty pissed and turned him down flat. What nerve he had to even ask. So with low wages and no benefits they still have the nerve to take money for our wives at a time of year when giving not receiving is the norm. Ordering supplies this year and only getting half of what I needed. Working with 2 incompetent, unknowledgeable twitts, one who cant lift a students desk by herself and cant see past her hand to clean. They will not fire her for some reason. Well good luck to them. I am however quite sad to be leaving the school as it has become a second home to me. I have secured great reference letters from the principal and 11 teachers and hope to get on with the local school board who now know who I am and what I can do. Thank for letting me vent. I will still be a loyal member of this forum and hope to be posting pics of a new school in the near future. Keep the corners clean everyone. See Ya..........Nigel
