The last week before school is out we ask our Teachers to get the Students on their last day to take their desk and chair - out into the hall and stack them neatly - and to ensure a safe walking area through the hall. To move heavy furniture we use gym scooters. Any thing that is too heavy we get our Maintenance guys to come in and move (some file cabinets are so heavy that I can't tip the dolly to move it) We use our Maintenance guys wisely and they come in for about 2 hours moving fridges, freezers, bookcases, and anything akward thoughout the school. We leave our halls for last and when the rooms are all done we get the Maintenance guys to return the heavy items. |
