Re: ladders and roofs

We go on the roof to check gutters at our schools, but we have access on the inside of the building to get up there.

Re: ladders and roofs

I am on the roof of my building at least twice weekly.
Am fortunate to have access from inside, though the ladder is vertical. I have one roof drain that is consistently blocked with tree debris & leaves. We also have neighbors who come onto the campus and fly kites, RC planes, knock golf & tennis balls around, then call the school the next morning with a request for "someone" (read: ME) to find their lost item. Over the years, I have retrieved hundreds of lunchboxes, playground balls, shoes, & toys from the roof.

Re: ladders and roofs

We go on the roof occasianally. We have acces to the roof on the inside. We go up their when I have to change the flags. To check fans. To cover loovers with sheet metal. Pigeon control. After a big rain to make sure the drains work. The only problem with our roof is that their is three levels and no ladder. We bring up a four foot ladder with us if we have to go to the lower level. Which we have to go over a 5 foot wall to a landing. Then it is about 5 feet down to the lower level. A four ladder helps a lot.
