This forum ending? -New forum?
Hi, This forum is run through a service I have set up through Bravenet. It is coming up for renewal. Since it is starting to get difficult for me to afford this since my resignation last year I was thinking of trying a different forum service for the site - a free version I found. The angst I am having over this decision is that when this Bravent premium version of our forum expires some of the posts might be lost. They also indicate that upon reverting back to the free version some adverts will crop up - headers and possibly pop-ups. I just wanted to let you all know what might be coming. Anyway, I plan to try setting up the new one this week and am thinking of keeping the old posted - keeping the link up to it. When the new one is set up I would recommend people post and reply only on the new one and use the old as read only. Thanks for your understanding and for any constructive advice you might be able to share with this crabby ex-custodian. Thank you, Bonnie

Hi, No..The site is staying and the forum too. It's just when the fees come up, I'll be switching to the zero cost version of this old forum. Then some of the posts will be lost. Not sure if the service owners will pare back on the older messages or the newest ones. I just wanted everyone to be aware. The new forum is linked on the site now and all are welcome to try it out and give opinions and suggestions. So, in summary: the site www.custodian.info is alive and well and has 2 forums. The hope is that the new forum will have less restrictions, remain a free service on my (webmaster's) end of things and that you will all feel welcome to use it. I'd like to direct that further discussions take place on the new forum now and kind of just leave this old one for read-only. Thanks for your kind words-supportive! Helped to hear from you. Take care!
