Past News : Willard Friendly Century
Friendly Century 4/19/08 The WiSport series and Big Ring Flyers returned to action April 19 in Willard with the annual pre-season ride/race/clinic at the Friendly Century. The event brought out a number of Big Ringers for 62- and 38-mile rides with a 20 mile training race from Thorp to Willard wrapping up the day. BRF members at Willard: Andrea Potyondy-Smith, R.J. Ochmann, Varick Olson, William Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Beth Peters, David Goetzinger, David Oachs, Vince Meyer, Jeff Colbeth, Nate Phelps and Julie Phelps. The team got a few riders "on the podium" in the 20-mile race with Dave Oachs finishing 2nd and David Goetzinger taking third. The Wisport series rolls on April 26 in Whitewater with the first points-race of the 2008 season |
