Dar's Midwest TT Championships 5/03/08 WILLARD, Wisc. -- The 2008 WiSport time trial season got underway May 3 with 11 members of the Big Ring Flyers taking on the rolling hills and gusty winds of the 16-mile course around Willard. Rain and snow gave way to a cool day that included northwest winds 21 mph gusting to 26. Elmer Colyer (5th with a time of 38:15) and David Goetzinger (17th, with a time of 40:52) were the top BRF finishers on the men's side while Andrea Potyondy-Smith (46th, 47:42) and Julie Phelps (49th, 47:48) were the top two women BRF'ers. Goetzinger, Potyondy-Smith and Phelps all placed second in their age group. RJ Ochmann brought home a third-place medal in the men's 30-34 age group. Colyer was first in his age division. Making his debut ride in a WiSport event, and in BRF colors, was 10-year-old Jamison Frame who finished the course under sage guidance of his director sportif, Jim "Dad" Frame. Jamison brought home a medal for his efforts. 5- Elmer Colyer; 17- David Goetzinger; 20 - Jeff Colbeth; 29- Nate Phelps; 46- Andrea Potyondy-Smith; 49- Julie Phelps; 53- Robert Maki; 55- Daniel Johnson; 60- Varick Olson; 64- R.J.
