Past News: 2 TTs, a MTB race and 14 bags of trash
Two TTs, a MTB race and 14 bags of trash May 10 & 11, 2008 WITHROW, MINN. - An off weekend for WiSport saw a handful of Big Ring Flyers racing in a smattering of time trials and mountain bike races in Minnesota and Illinois this weekend, while others picked up trash in Hudson. Jeff Colbeth and Andrea Potyondy-Smith tackled the Synergy 40K TT in Withrow, Minn. May 10 where Colbeth finished 82nd overall and Potyondy- Smith -- the proud owner of a new Specialized S-Works road bike -- came home 106. In Garden Priairie, Ill, David Goetzinger and Nathan Phelps took part in the ABD Cycling 2-Person 40K TT on what was an extremely flat course May 10. Goetzinger (riding for RVO in the ABR series) teamed with Athletes By Design rider Bob Marshall for a 6th place finish in the 50+ division. Phelps teamed up with Richard Alderman of the Madison Flying Bobcats for a 7th place finish in Cat. 4. In Inver Grove Heights, Minn, Dave Oachs rode to a 30th place finish in the Expert division of Erik's Spring Cup on Sunday. |
