It sounds like there may be two problems going on.\

1. I suspect that the float level is slightly low. Do not change by much, may 2mm or so.

2. You may also have a condition where you have a bad fuel pump. In the case of almost any Weber, the pressure does not have to be more than 3.5 PSI, but they do require some reasonable flow, particularly on long, med-high RPM runs.

So it may be a combination of the two. The flow cannot keep up with demand and then the float level may also be too low.

I would try the float level adjustment as this costs nothing. Then try a different fuel pump. Make sure you have a pressure regulator.
