A number of Fiat 850 owners have asked me if I have any alternate differential ratios available for the 850 gearbox (similar to what I make for the Fiat 600 gearbox).
The answer is no, but could be yes. Making a new ratio like a 9/39 (4.33) is certainly possible, but I need a minimum of 10 sets to be made at a time, or it is not financially feasible. A 4.33 diff ratio will mean about 11% less RPM at any given speed. This will make for much more relaxed driving. Also if you have a 850 with a 1432cc motor or other conversion, then this would also work quite well.
If there are a minimum of 5 people that would like sets, the I am willing to finance the other 5 sets, and have them available for future orders.
