Hello Philip,
I´ll give you answers to our Coppa-Mille support regulations. Yes, you need an tandem brake system, which is an standard in historic motorsport. You can take the masterbrakecylinder from an Zastava 750, which I can send to you. OHC-engines are not allowed in the the body of the Fiat 600. You have to start with an pushrod-engine. The ohc-motor is only allowed in the GT-bodyshell of an Bialbero or Record Monza, but there is no participant with such an racer in the Coppa-Mille.
To tow an trailer behind an motorhome is not a problem in Europe, because the total weight of the Fiat an the trailer will be not more than ca. 1000 - 1200 kg. Normaly you can pull behind an motorhome 2000 kg. Do you have an driverlicence for an trailer ? The maximum speed in Europe with an normal trailer is 80 km/h. In France, Swiss (vignette for motorhome and trailer), Austria (pickerl) and Italy you have to pay for to drive on an motorway, the Netherland, Belgium and Germany is free.
If you want to start by the Silver Flag hillclimb-event in Italy, send them not a photo with an ohc-engine from your car ! In the past there were some Fiat 600 (Abarth replicas) with engines from the fiat 127 (ohc) and 128, grrrr. They were ignored in the paddock of the Abarth-enthusiast.
Welcome in Europe
