If I recall correctly the Nissan 1200 motor normally runs "clockwise". As the Fiat 600 also runs clockwise, I do not see the need to change the engine rotation.
If you were putting the Nissan motor in an 850 chassis, then you would have to find a way to have the motor run counterclockwise. You have two options. You can either find a way to have a CCW camshaft ground (now both the cam and crankshaft will turn CCW), or have someone make some cam gears (direct drive, no chain) and now the crankshaft will turn CCW, but the camshaft will still turn CW.
Just be sure to see if there are any other bits that will be affected, such as distributor rotation and/or oil pump rotation.
