Carp gear is fine, I never use anything over 15lb mono and 2.75lb rod in this country.Use Hallibut pellets or try liver,squid,live or dead baits etc .
If you want to catch a real big *****y then we run reduced price trips to Spain with Catfish Capers.I'v been going for the last 5 years and value for money and great fishing you can't beat them.
