Message:   You certainly sound like you have a leak. Blood patches can be painful but can also be very helpful in some cases. My wife has had two spinal infusions. They are used to "replace" the fluid as a diagnositic test to see if you feel better, although the relief usually only lasts a day or two. For some reason, my wife responded very well to these infusions and had relief for months, but this is VERY unusual.

One thing that would be helpful if they do an infusion, especially if you feel better, is to do a CT myelogram to try and find the leak. They can do this through the infusion catheter.
