Message:   From my experience, your blood patches should NOT be painful. I have had 3, one was painful. I went Monday to Wake Forest University Medical Ctr In Winston Salem NC Monday for tests and was told that the BP that was painful was NOT put in the right place. By painful, I mean I immediately got a pressure headache. The other two relieved my headache for 2 days.I have 0 pressure in my spine. The radiologist there said he's never had to siphone (sp) blood out of a spine before. I've had all the tests and no holes can be found. The doctors at WFUMC are referring me to the Mayo Clinic.
