Message:   I had an LP done on Feb 1. I followed the instructions to lay flay/stay in bed 24 hours and had no problem until hour 26 when the spinal headache hit. I tried to ride it out but had to have the blood patch by the third day. It did not provide instant relief, although it helped a little. The headache gradually improved over the next day or two. I returned to my normal routine/work ten days after the initial LP.
It has now been over two weeks since the LP and a week after returning to regular routine. The headache is back. Not nearly as severe as before but exactly the same pain. It is not immediate upon standing/sitting but it takes less than an hour to start.
What is going on here ? I thought I was over this. I am so frustrated ! Any ideas ?
