Subject:   Can this possibly be a spinal headache still?

Message:   10 ½ years ago when I had my baby, I had to have a spinal block. The spinal block resulted in a leak and I was left with a spinal headache. I remember that the doctor had a very difficult time getting the blood block in because of the curve in my spine. I have dealt with headaches ever since. Now, I have always had headaches, so this is not a huge surprise, but over the past 10 years my headaches have been much, much worse. I now suffer with morning migraines 3-5 days a week and I feel like I have a headache that truly never goes away. I can honestly say I do not believe I have had a day without a headache in the last 2 years. My quality of life is suffering. I stumbled upon your site today and I am wondering if this is possibly what has been going on all along. I have done what seems like everything else from food challenges, allergy testing, chiropractic, massage therapy, even neck surgery to relieve my headaches. Is there any possibility that spinal fluid can continue to leak for 10 years or should I just continue to look for answers somewhere else?

Again, my worst headaches come on in the middle of the night, sometime between 1 and 4 am. Can it be that my spinal fluid leaks while I sleep? Today, I did lay down with my head on no pillow and my headache went away almost immediately. I had never tried that before. Guess I always thought I wanted my head on a pillow.

THANK YOU for any advice you may have!
