Message:   Hello Debi-

I'm not sure why I didn't get notified of your message through the message board system, so I must apologize. To answer your questions:

1) My wife has had recurring problems with leaks. I can't count how many blood patches she has had.

2) They are usually lumbar, but if the leak can be located, the can be placed at the site of the leak. The blood volume is important. Many people have been helped with higher volumes, such as 50 ml or more.

3) Her leaks were located with CT myleograms.

She was never treated with steriods for her leaks.

I hope by now you are better, and I apologize for the delay in responding.
