Message:   I posted back in Feb, about three weeks after my LP. I did have a blood patch, although it only provided moderate relief (they didn't get enough blood inserted). My headaches did improve w/in a week and I was able to be a mom and go back to teaching P/T. However, the darn headaches have never gone away ! I have a headache every single day. They are usually a dull roar and I can function more-or-less. However, they will flare up out of nowhere some days and they are always worse by the late afternoon/evening. Laying in bed w/out a pillow helps but doesn't make it go away completely.
I went to my doctor this week to see about meds. He has me on steroids right now but they aren't doing much. What should I do ? If I try meds, will I ever be able to get off of them ? Is there something else that can be done ? Heck, is this even still the spinal headache from the LP ? It sure feels exactly like the SH. (I have no history of headaches -- never really had one until the initial SH in February.)

Any insight would be greatly appreciated ! I am so frustrated with this !!!
