Message:   What a piece of Equipment we were using. It was a Collins URC-32 SSB 500 Watt Transceiver with a tunable whip antenna. We had a standing wave ratio of 1 to 1 and just hit the right skip.
That was a night I'll never forget....
The amazing part was, however, that the person to whom I was communicating was mobile and we still had him 5 X 5 all the time.
By the way, did anybody notice that Plumly was the only one that had his hat squared!!!!!!!!
