Steven graduated from sub school Friday. 96 in the class. Two awards were given, the William H. Purdum Memorial Award(for Persistance, Initiative, & Motivation) and the Navy League Award for Excellence...he got both of them. The Staff at sub school was fantastic and arranged for me to present him with his orders to the Virginia and to give him my dolphins. An emotional ceremony to say the least. He has another school to attend and will report to the Virginia SSN 774 on May 7th. My dolphins will be taken down to the Virginia Monday when she pulls in and put on the board for that big day. They'll have me come on board Virginia to pin them on when that day comes. Awesome experience!! |
