Message:   I received a note from Tracey Johnstone today that her mother Johanna passed away earlier this week. Tracey was with us at our reunion last May and many of us served with her father Richard Johnstone when he captained the Sea Robin (1962-1964). She wanted me to let you know of her mothers passing. I would like to quote a couple of lines from her note as I believe they apply to all who served on the Sea Robin.
"I can say without reservation that Dad's years on the Robin were among their happiest. With a lesser crew the stresses inherent with submarining would have outweighed the joys of camaradery from a job well done. Mom and Dad knew this and were grateful. I think I can speak for Brad(Mooney)on this too. Going nuke just could not have been a step up from serving on the Robin with its families and crew. It's not about the boat, it's about the people in it."
I think Tracey hit the nail on the head, the Sea Robin always had good people in it.
