Affirming our children
I try to pick up some good character of my children, e.g. helpful and caring. Then, I praise them accordingly. I talk to them about their strengths every night to show my appreciation of them. They are very happy when I give them acknowledge. For instance, when they are impatience, I say to them," You are learning to be more patient. Thanks for practising patience". Through affirmation and acknowledge by the parents, our children will feel loved and develop self esteem. |
