Message:   hello from finland, there has been many issues discussed when a dog is lost/stolen. posters, with foto, no name, and put out as many as you can, ask your friends to print your poster copy and assist distribution of posters.
radio, local and neighbourhood newspapers, police, taxis postmen, schools everyone everywhere, tell everyone, put on supermarket areas for information, vets what ever comes to mind, but posters are important.
every house´s post boxes in the neighbourhood.
check every close and a bit further situated dogpounds, personally calling and checking as, sadly they somehow miss the breed (sorry to say).

we are right now searching for a flatcoated retriever for 2 months, with all these things and now this evening the dog might finally be catched in a box, which will close as he enters to eat, he was there once already but the door didn´t close, this night maybe.?
all the best.
ritva
should you need to ask something?
in finland, we have one page with information of all lost/found/stolen dogs and cats. its good and i have been involved ever since it started.
most important ask and tell everyone and ask them to forward the message, and keep lots of small papers in your pocket with your phone number should to give.
