Has anyone had a diagnosis of PHPV ? I had not heard of it before, even though it is on the Cerf exam paper. Is this something that warrants a second opinion? I was not going to keep the puppy, but would still like to know if the diagnosis might be incorrect.

I've never had any experience with a diagnosis, hadn't ever heard of it before your post, so I was interested to go read about it.

Thanks for those 2 links. I was searching the other day and did not find those. It sounds like it might be the Grade 1, as on one of the links. The Opth. said that it would not get worse and would not affect it's sight. However, after having read both of those links I think it might be best to get a second opinion.
