Subject: [legislativecoord] New Head of NHTSA

Yo All Y'all:

I may be wrong... but I think this appointment may prove to be less than positive for bikers... Her father gave her a motorcycle helmet and a photo of a car crash as gifts when she took office... Get out your binoculars and other surveillance equipment. We'll have to watch her carefully to make sure she doesn't allow her minions to violate the law ( i.e. trying to mandate helmets ... in the national and international arena).
