my name is Rene Hieronymus and I'm a modelbuilder here in Salzburg/Austria. A few weeks ago I just have finished a large scale model of an Escort Carrier the USS Sangamon CVE-26, The model is nearly 9ft long and it took me more than 5 years to accomplish this project cause of all the details (If you want to see pictures of the finished model I can send them to anyone easily) Today I ahave started my next project in the same scale of 1:72, the USS Pillsbury This model is going to be about 4ft long and will be of the same quality, which is called Museums-Quality.
I ahve already been able to find some good plans but what I am looking for now are photos of the ship and the way it looked between 1944 and 1945. Is there anyone who could help me with that? If there are any costs involved with that I will pay for it off course but I would also like to provide you with all the pictures which I will take during the building of this model.
