I definitely agree with you, Mary. Although, each of Jane's heroes are so lovable...they have their own good traits and nice personality.

I agree with you Mary, to some extent. I like Mr.Darcy the best because he is so complicated and interesting, and hard to get. However, I have a soft spot for Colonel Brandon because he is so patient and kind to Marianne.

I have seen many(but not all)of the movies,and Darcy is the BEST!In fact,I liked P&P it so much that after seeing it many times at my local library,I had to go and order it.Yes,Colin Firth was a perfect actor for Darcy.

(sorry for my English, I am from Argentina)I read P&P 11 times when I was a teenager, I fell in love in the first character, Mr. Darcy, and could recognize some lines of the book when I watched The diary of Bridget Jones with Collin Firth. I think he is the perfect actor for the role of Darcy. I will miss him in the new version of P&P

My favorite hero is mr. Darcy simply due to the fact that Colin Firth positively smouldered in that movie.

After that it would have to be Mr. Knightly and then Colonel Brandon from Sense and Sensibility. simply because he was so constant, such a rock.
