Although I now work as a language specialist, I still consider myself a professional Volunteer Administrator, manage volunteers and volunteer. As a member of the NVAVA, I support it and my local Volunteer Center. Having said this, I will be very interested in helping explore the development of a new national organization which will meet the needs of local AVAs by providing a national presence and a healthy and inclusive infrastructure that local organizations can model and in which administrators can participate. I have some experience in bringing a defunct organization back to life, so I am willing to help however I can.
