Martin, if something can be put together I am happy to market the event on this site. Perhaps we can create a poll to see how much interest there would be in attending an event.
Some of the immediate challenges I see are hotel and site accomodations. Perhaps a smaller one or two day event could be held and delivered to those that can not attend in person via webcasts.

I agree it would need to be smaller but there was already some planning and momentum underway last year...people had submitted papers already etc
