According to AVA bylaws/policies, AVA membership list cannot not be distributed. AVA board president, Ellen Didimamoff, has computer back up information and Virginia AVA member, Katie Campbell, is currently storing several boxesof materials for the Association.

Regarding the criminal investigation, it has been closed. The AVA board and staff learned of this not through the Henrico Police Department, but through an article that appeared in the Chronicle of Philanthropy. The police department found no criminal wrongdoing. However, a pro bono forensic accountant is still involved in researching if other action can be taken and the board is considering what further steps, if any, they will take in an investigation. The last of the money AVA has will be spent for payroll taxes. A pro bono attorney is assisting with the legal papers necessary for the dissolution of the Association.
