We have a 12 year old barrel horse for sale. He would be great for a kid learning. My daughter has rode him for 5 years and only knocked over 2 barrels. He is as automatic as they come. She is 17 now and he is not quite fast enough for high school. He will teach you run barrels. He also runs poles and we have heeled steers and roped breakaway on him. Asking price is 4500
