Wondering if anyone has heard of some guy from the UK named fidson. I have my horse forsale on the internet and he replied to me stating that he would buy the horse but his shipper would come to my house and pick up the horse. He would have his friend in the states send a cashier check. His email has terrible english and it seems fishy to me so if anyone has heard of him, it would be great to know.

YES it is a scam, don't do it!

Be careful anytime you take a Cashier's Check - they have become very easy to reproduce to look very authentic. I would suggest meeting your party at your bank and having the bank teller verify the check is not a fraud in ANY transaction.
