I just joined bravenet and I created a very simple website in Adobe Dreamweaver. Now I wanted to get a guestbook on it and I used the bravenet tool.
I clicked in the left corner on code and this is what I received:
Is this correct?
If I open a blank html page in dreamweaver and save it, it just gives this text.
to place html code in you have to put it in the html format for the page or else it brings up ONLY TEXT code and not whatever you are trying to place their
whatever you tried to post as an example didn't come up.
There are two obvious possibilities here:
1. You don't know how to insert a code snippet using Dreamweaver. You need to consult Dreamweaver's own help for that
2. You signed up for the wrong flavour of forum. The classic format just gives you a link which opens up a forum under its Bravenet address. The embedded forum makes the whole thing look as if it is part of your own site. If you picked the wrong one it won't look the way you expected.
