Canadians entering USA need passport

I was wondering if anyone knew when we would require a passport to enter USA? I just use driver's license and birth certificate last time I went over the border. I heard it was changing but did not know when.

Thanks for any help.

Re: Canadians entering USA need passport

Thanks Tari. How much did it cost you? It is good for a year or more?

Better get on to it!

Re: Canadians entering USA need passport

Oh yes, absolutely go to the source! I'd hate to see someone get stuck at the border because of any mistaken advice given on an anonymous forum! "But no, border crossing guards, 'Breeder' said I don't need a passport!"

Re: Canadians entering USA need passport

After 9/11, everything is changing for security reason of course!

Re: Canadians entering USA need passport

Please note that as of June 1 anyone crossing the border requires a passport.

That means US residents coming up for shows as well.
