I am looking for a dehumidifier that can operate below 50 degrees without freezing up. The one we have now is supposed to do that but freezes up at 60 degrees. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I also had that problem before. Got this new one this summer and it is in the basement The one I have now is G E and it does not freeze up. I would imagine our basement would be around 55 but it works good. The cost was somewhere around $350. I do have to empty it but not a big deal I am surprised how much water there is even when it is winter and cool.Ellie
