I am wondering if the economy has caused a decrease in entries at dog shows? And if so, will it be enough to change the point schedule? I personally cannot afford to go much at all anymore. I can barely afford food and vet care for my gang.

I am in the same boat...Have to cut back big time Only shows within an hr drive..Not even sure if I will breed this spring...Last litter had a c-section and it was quite $$$ and not as many potential buyers calling. Maybe by next year things will look up again..Just taking time to love on my dogs..

Slowed me down a lot. I used to show 4 or 5 dogs at least twice a month! Now I am picking and choosing shows and which dogs to enter... But I doubt the point schedule will change given the number of specialties we have.
