Anyone know what this might be??? He'd had one just near the opening over Xmas and it cleared up and I thought that was it. Now it looks like there are several others coming up. Doesn't seem to be bothersome, no problem/increase in urination either. I'll talk to the vet on Monday when they're open but any thoughts/suggestions would be great. I do have antiobiotics on hand but until I know what the heck we're dealing with, I'm hesitatant to dose him with anything. This boy is 2.5 yrs old, healthy otherwise, neutered. TIA

Could it be a later age, mild puppy strangles case? Any swelling of the lymph nodes?

No swelling in lymph nodes. He doesn't seem to have a problem with this and is as healthy as a 'horse' otherwise - it's me that's wondering!
