Has anyone ever stayed at the Travelodge in Frederick a few minutes north of the Potomac show site? Any opinions?

Anyone that can provide comparisons between the Comfort Inn and the Travelodge in Frederick? They are both about the same distance from the show site and pretty comprable in price. So, if one has better accommodations for dogs than the other, that will help us decide which one to stay at.

We stayed there a couple of years ago. It was sort of run down, but the rooms were large and the beds weren't bad. I have not yet stayed in the Comfort Inn... that is our location for this year. Others have said it is very nice and comfortable. YMMV

I would recommend the Comfort Inn, we've stayed at both and liked the Comfort Inn better. There's more grassy area's to ex your dogs, cleaner and the area seems a little nicer. Our room was the biggest I ever stayed in.
