I just received a $7 check payable to my vet for a portion of a six month supply of Comfortis (spinosad). It states that the offer is sent by my vet and sponsored in part by Lilly Companion Animal Health (Eli Lilly). Apparently the drug has been available in Europe and about a year new to the US. I do not have a flea problem and would not be one of the first in line to try a new drug.

Some that have used it thinks there is nothing any better and give it high marks. I did have one friend that used it on her small dog and she said everytime she used it the dog would have a very upset tummy for a day or two. That would tell me something!
