My almost 2 boy has had some severe skin issues since 9 months. Spent several $$ in skin scrapings, allergy testing, treating for mites etc. with no relief. Has anyone ever used Atopica? looking for all good and bad experiences. He will probally be started on this med this week! Thanks again for all the help!
The Atopica works great - if you use it with another drug, ketokonazole, it is less expensive.
We had great results for a bit - then the wheels fell off. Our girl got a bad nocardia infection and developed many problems. I do not blame atopica, but it does weaken the immune system.
